Checking anti-chafing film

NOTE:  Make sure that the anti-chafing film completely seals off the cutout of the sheetmetal nut.

1. Check anti-chafing film -1- and replace it if necessary.

2. Check sheetmetal nut -2- and replace it if necessary.

Installing rear bumper

Installing heat shield at the sides

1. Position heat shield at the sides -3- so that it is flush with the side section (no gaps).

2. Tighten fastening nuts -1-. -] : 9.7 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)
3. Tighten fastening screw -2-. -] : 9.7 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

Installing centre heat shield

1. Position centre heat shield -2- and secure with the fastening nuts -1-.
