WORK PROCEDURE

Porsche 968 - Installation of M6x10 bolt and additional washer on cruise control servo motor

1.

Open front hood.

2.

Remove the plastic nut (Figure 1, Arrow A) for the rear engine compartment cover.

3.

Lift rear engine compartment cover, (B in Figure 1) and install a M6x10 bolt which has a crimped on washer (Part Number 900 075 363 02) and
an additional washer (Part Number N 011 524 7) into the open thread hole on the cruise control servo motor and torque to 10 N-m or 7 ft.lbs.
(Figure 2, Arrow C).

NOTE:

If a bolt with washer is already installed, go to step 4.

4.

Install rear engine compartment cover back into position and secure with the plastic nut (Figure 3, Arrow A).
