Removing And Installing Front Side Section Trim

Preliminary work

1. Remove dashboard cover.

Removing front side section trim

INFORMATION:  To reduce the unclipping forces and thereby the risk of damage during removal, the removal steps must be carried out at the
accessible connection points using a suitable tool.

1. Unclip side section trim from top of A-pillar trim.
2. Unclip side section trim at the lower edge.

3. Remove trim panel in a downward direction.

Installing front side section trim

Installing side section trim

INFORMATION:
-

Check that all the fastening clips are positioned fully and correctly.

-

Check that all the fastening clips are not bent or broken.

-

Replace damaged or missing clips with new ones.

-

Make sure that the retaining lugs are not bent or broken.

-

Replace the trim panel if the retaining lugs are damaged.
