5. Carefully press in the wheel bearing as far as it will go (monitor pressure gauge: the rapid pressure increase indicates that the wheel bearing is in
its installation position.).
Pressing in wheel bearing
Wheel bearing pressed into the wheel bearing housing as far as it will go. Fit the circlip 3 with new screws 2.
Installing wheel hub
Tools for pressing in wheel hub, 1 - press-on sleeve 9694/3, 2 - pressure piece T10205/10, 3 - large ram
Position press-on sleeve 9694/3 under the workshop press. Place wheel bearing housing with wheel bearing flat onto press-on sleeve 9694/3. Center
inner wheel bearing race -1- on tool.
Centering press-on sleeve 9694/3 on rear inner wheel bearing race (rear-axle wheel carrier shown)
