Recirculation Actuator Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the HVAC module assembly. Refer to HVAC Module Assembly Replacement (See: Housing Assembly HVAC/Service and Repair).
2. Remove the air inlet assembly.
3. Remove the screws from the air inlet assembly.
4. Remove the recirculation actuator screws.
5. Remove the recirculation actuator.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the recirculation actuator.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Notice).
2. Install the recirculation actuator screws.
Tighten the screws to 1.9 Nm (17 in. lbs.).
3. Install the air inlet assembly.
4. Install the screws to the HVAC module assembly.
Tighten the screws to 1.9 Nm (17 in. lbs.).
5. Install the HVAC module assembly. Refer to HVAC Module Assembly Replacement (See: Housing Assembly HVAC/Service and Repair).
6. Recalibrate the recirculation actuator on vehicles equipped with automatic climate control (C68). Refer to Actuator Recalibration (See: Testing
and Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Actuator Recalibration).

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the left side sound insulator screws.
