6. Install the nut (1) to the accumulator.
Tighten the nut to 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.).
7. Install the compressor hose (1) to the A/C compressor using new sealing washers. Refer to Sealing Washer Replacement (See: Coupler
HVAC/A/C Coupler O-ring/Service and Repair/Sealing Washer Replacement).
8. Install the compressor hose nut.
Tighten the nut to 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.).
9. Install the washer bottle. Refer to Windshield Washer Solvent Container Replacement (See: Wiper and Washer Systems/Windshield Washer
Reservoir/Service and Repair).
10. Evacuate and recharge the A/C system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (See: Service and Repair/Refrigerant Recovery and
Recharging).
11. Leak test the fittings of the component using J 39400-A.
