ASSEMBLE

1.

Fit new seals to secondary plunger as shown in Fig. 2. Because the primary assembly is fitted with a captive plastic bleed cup, if a seal is
worn the entire plunger assembly must be replaced.

2.

Install spring and spring retainer onto secondary plunger.

3.

Lubricate seals and cylinder bore with brake fluid, then install secondary plunger plastic bleed cup.

4.

Insert secondary plunger, then the primary plunger into cylinder bore, taking care not to damage seals.

5.

Push primary plunger up the bore and install secondary plunger stop pin.

6.

Install master cylinder and bleed brake system.
