The drain pipe and check valve should be pointed downward.  The check valve should be free of any blockage (Figure 3).

If necessary, rotate the drain pipe downward and clear any debris from the check valve. This step can be accomplished from beneath the car
through the drain plug hole.

4.

Reinstall the drain plug.

For warranty claims, use Failure Coding 87023-26-0- 01-05. Labor time allowance is 0.2 hours which should be entered as
straight time.
