Repair Procedure

After checking for position, check the tightness of and, if necessary retighten the following hose clamps for the inlet pipes. If a loose clamp/hose is
found, the hose should be removed and any oil be cleaned from the sealing surface.

Clamps securing the hose at the turbocharger.

-

Clamps securing the pipes/hoses running from the turbocharger to the intercooler.

-

Clamps securing the pipes/hoses running from the intercooler to the throttle housing.

Tightening Torque

A.

Turbocharger Hose Clamp        3.5 - 4.5 ft.lb.

B.

Intercooler Pipe Clamps        3.0 - 3.5 ft.lb.

C.

Throttle Housing Hose Clamps   3.0 - 3.5 ft.lb.
