Valves are illustrated in their positions when the selector lever is set to neutral.

This valve ensures sequential 2-3-4 upshift by governor pressure to 3rd-4th shift valve not being released until 3rd is engaged. Upshift from 2nd to 4th
cannot take place due to the A-C' overlap (in 3rd).

4-3-2 Shift Sequencing Valve

Valves are illustrated in their positions when the selector lever is set to neutral.

This valve ensures sequential 4-3-2 downshift by system pressure being applied to shift valve 2-3 and holding 3rd position until 3rd has actually been
engaged. Downshift from 4th directly to 2nd cannot take place due to the A-C'-overlap.
