Feel to make sure the holder is not loose. If it is, it should be modified as indicated in Figure 2 by bending the "hook" on the lower bracket up
against the cooler. Do not bend this more than 3 mm.
8.
Tighten the upper retaining bolt in the protective frame. Tightening torque: 4 Nm (3 ft.lbs.).
9.
Reinstall the cooler and radiator assembly to its proper position and tighten the bolt in the assembly. Plug in the A/C compressor connector.

The included attachment contains a complete explanation of this safety problem and the specific modification which will be performed on your Saab. It
also explains the precautions you should take until you can bring your Saab in to your dealer.
We urge you to make an appointment with your Saab dealer as soon as possible after October 25, 1994. That is the date by which we expect dealers will
have parts and complete recall information. Of course, there will be no charge for this service.
Saab appreciates your cooperation and understanding regarding this situation and we will do our best, along with your dealer, to minimize any
inconvenience. We want to assure you that our engineering and safety standards will be upheld long after any Saab leaves the showroom.
