Air Injection Pump: Service and Repair

To Remove

1. Remove the front grille, left-hand direction indicators and left-hand headlamp.
2. Remove the bolt, working from above.
3. Raise the car and remove the centre and lefthand spoiler sections.
4. Disconnect the air pump hose.
5. Remove the two retaining bolts.
6. Extract the bracket and remove the vacuum valve. Remove the control valve retaining bolts. Unplug the connector and lift out the bracket with

pump.

7. Unscrew the pump from the bracket.

To Fit

Before fitting, the nut for the retaining bolt that is to be screwed in place from above should be positioned in the bracket.

In other respects, fit in reverse order.
