INSTANTANEOUS CONSUMPTION

This display shows the current fuel economy at a particular moment and changes often as the driving conditions change. The display shows the
instantaneous fuel economy in miles per gallon (mpg) or liters per 100kilometers (1/100km)

TRIP CONSUMPTION

This display shows the number of gallons or liters of fuel used since the last reset. This value can be reset to zero at any time and restarted.

DISTANCE TRAVELLED

This display shows the current distance travelled in miles or kilometers since the last reset. This value can be reset to zero at any time and restarted.

STOP WATCH (TIMER)

This display is used as a timer. Use the left thumbwheel switch or the audio system control to start, stop or reset the timer.

DIC Warnings and Messages

Vehicle warnings and messages are displayed on the DIC to notify the driver of an important vehicle information. Multiple messages may appear one
after another. The DIC displays information on some vehicle fluid levels, remote keyless entry (RKE) transmitter battery, theft-deterrent system (if
equipped), the brake light switch, and important exterior lights, including wiring and fuses. Some messages may not require immediate action, but you
can acknowledge that you received the message and clear them from the display by doing one of the following:

Press the OK button on the base level audio system.

Press the multifunction knob, if your vehicle has this feature, on the uplevel audio system.

Press the left thumbwheel, if your vehicle has this feature, on the steering wheel.

COOLANT LEVEL CHECK

REMOTE CONTROL BATTERY CHECK

SAFEGUARD CHECK

WASHING WATER LEVEL (UPLEVEL)

Outside Air Temperature

The outside air temperature is read by the underhood electrical center (UEC) for the left outside air temperature. The outside air temperature is
transmitted over serial data to the DIC for display via the steering column control module (SCCM). The DIC calculates and displays the outside
temperature values.
