Disconnect the wiring harness plug.
4. Disconnect the steering wiring harness.

Disconnect the cover from the positive distribution.
*
Remove the wiring harness from the fixing (1).
*
Disconnect the wiring harness plug for steering (2).
*
Disconnect the ground cable (3) for steering wiring harness from ground pole terminal.
*
Expose wiring harness for steering underneath. Note wiring route.

Remove the cable ties.

Release the wiring harness from the holder.
5. Remove the air cleaner housing with the air intake hose.
6. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Tune-up and Engine
Performance Checks/Air Cleaner Housing/Service and Repair).
7. Remove the bleed hose from the tank bleed valve.

Disconnect the quick-acting closure.
*
Release from the holder.
8. Remove the right engine splash shield.
9. Disconnect the wiring harness for the steering from the front frame.
Note: Oil runs out, use a drain pan.
10. Remove the return (1) and supply line (2) from the electro-hydraulic supply unit.
