Astra L4-1.8L (2009)
Note: Note close tolerance bolts.
1. Only for metal cover with separate seal, attach the end shield cover seal.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
2. Install the end shield cover to transmission housing with a new gasket.

Tighten the 4 bolts M7 to 15 Nm (11 lb ft).

Tighten the 5 bolts M8 to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).
3. For plastic cover with integral seal, attach a new end shield cover.

Tighten the 4 bolts M6 to 8 Nm (70 lb in).

Tighten the 5 bolts M8 to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).
4. Inspect transmission fluid level. Refer to Front Wheel Drive Shaft Seal Replacement (See: Front Wheel Drive Shaft Seal Replacement).
