1. Install oil filter housing to engine block. Tighten oil Filter housing at sleeve.

Torque: 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.) 

IMPORTANT:  Ensure the tabs on the oil filter cartridge lock firmly into the oil filter cap. An audible snap will be heard when the oil filter cartridge
is completely seated.

2. Install new oil filter cartridge into oil filter cap.
3. Lightly coat the O-ring around oil filter cap with clean oil.

IMPORTANT:  Use a box end wrench, six point socket, cap-type, or strap-type wrench to prevent damage during removal.

4. Install oil filter cap onto oil filter cartridge housing.

Torque: 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.) 

5. Wipe oil pan drain plug and surrounding area with a clean, dry cloth.
6. Install oil pan drain plug.

-

Torque: 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.) 

7. Lower the vehicle.
8. Fill engine with 5 quarts of engine oil.
