Wheel Hub: Service and Repair
Rear Hub and Bearing
REAR HUB/BEARING
W/DISC BRAKES
1.
Raise and support vehicle, then remove wheel assembly.
2.
On models equipped with ABS, disconnect wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
3.
On all models, remove caliper to knuckle attaching bolts, then using suitable wire, hang caliper aside.
4.
Remove brake rotor, then four hub to knuckle attaching bolts, remove hub.
5.
Reverse procedure to install.
W/DRUM BRAKES
1.
Raise and support vehicle, then remove wheel assembly.
2.
Remove brake drum, then four hub to knuckle attaching bolts, then remove.
3.
Reverse procedure to install.
