5. Install the front support fixture using the 3/8 inch bolts/blocks, and align the two holes in each camshaft sprocket, sprocket adapter, and the front
support fixture. Install the four nuts, but do not tighten.
6. Tighten the sprocket pilot bolts attached to the end of each camshaft, while holding the camshaft using a 21 mm or 7/8 inch wrench. Torque to 25
Nm (19 ft. lbs.).
NOTE: Each sprocket can normally be moved by gripping the sprocket at the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions and rock it forward or lightly
prying between the end of the camshaft and sprocket.
7. Move each camshaft sprocket off the end of each camshaft and onto each sprocket adapter.
8. Tighten the four 3/8 inch nuts and bolts with blocks, through the camshaft sprocket, sprocket adapter and front angled support fixture. The steel
blocks are installed against the rearward side of the camshaft sprocket. Torque to 25 Nm (19 ft. lbs.).
