3. Install the rear seat rear bolts.

1. Tighten the rear seat rear bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
2. Tighten the generator battery bolts at the rear shock towers to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

4. Lift up the rear seat back.

5. Install the 36 volt negative battery cable ground terminal (7) to the ground stud.
6. Install the 36 volt negative battery cable ground nut (8).

Tighten the nut to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

7. Connect the generator battery wiring harness electrical connector (1) to the body wiring harness electrical connector (2).
8. Install the left and right side rear quarter lower trim panels.
9. Connect the hybrid battery.
