For the proper adjustment of the gearbox, the following points are essential:

The gearbox, the clutch mechanism and the clutch must be in perfect condition.
t
Gearbox operation must be smooth with no stiffness.

Place the gear selector shaft in neutral

Pull the cable securing mechanism forwards, in the direction of the -arrow 1-, from the gear selection and engagement all the way, rotating it then to the left in the direction of the -arrow 2- to secure it.

Separate the cables from the securing elements.
Secure the gear selection shaft as follows:

Press the selection shaft down in the direction of the -arrow 1-.

At the same time, rotate the elbow -A- in the direction of the -arrow 2- until the shaft locks.
Note
In this position, the inner end of the elbow joint -A- is inserted in the selector lever holding it in the adjustment position.

Remove the gear lever cover from the centre console → Chapter.

Remove the centre console cover, carefully moving it towards the upper part.
–
Place the gearshift lever in neutral position and secure it as follows:

Insert the pin retention tool -T10027- in the hole -B- through the hole -A-.
Note
To facilitate the fitting of the retention tool -T10027-, move the gear lever so that the two holes are aligned.

Rotate the securing mechanism of the engagement and selection cables to the right all the way in the direction of the -arrow-.
–
Turn the elbow joint -A- in the direction of the -arrow-, until it returns to its initial position.
Note
The elbow should be in a vertical position facing upwards.

Remove the retention tool -T10027- and fit the gear lever cover to the centre console.
