| Disconnect the connector -A- for the printed circuit board of the cover and cut the plate clamp -arrow- fastening the knob to the selector rod. |

| Remove the knob unit by pulling the unit upwards. |

Caution The knob will break if you try to fit it while the button is pushed in. |

| Before assembly, check that the button is not pushed in. If this is the case, hold the knob in the assembly position and carefully extract the button until a “click” is heard. The button is now engaged and a small eyelet is visible between the knob and the button. |

| Fasten the button in this position with insulation tape to prevent it from accidentally falling back when the knob is fitted. |

| Fit a new metal clamp with the metal sleeve on the knob. |

| Fit the knob onto the lever as far as possible. |

| Close the metal clamp with the pressure tool -T20072A-. |

| Insert the connector of the printed circuit board for the lever cover. |

| Fit the upper gear lever cover . |
