–  Secure the master cylinder with mounting bracket -arrows 1 and 2-. When installing master cylinder onto support, safety bracket must align with mark indicated on support.

Attach safety clip onto actuating bar
l  In the illustration, the master cylinder is removed from the mounting for a clearer explanation.

–  Place safety clip -2- on securing rod -1-, press clutch pedal until you can hear the safety clip engaging into clutch pedal housing.

–  Position clutch pedal over-centre spring -4- in the mounting bracket -3-, at the same time lightly pressing upper part of clutch pedal -1- towards master cylinder and against neutral over-centre spring, until bolt -5- can pass through and tighten nut -2- firmly.
–  Install clutch pedal mounting bracket → Chapter.
–  Bleed air from hydraulic clutch system → Chapter
