First check whether a coded radio is fitted. In this case, obtain anti-theft code.

With the ignition switched off, disconnect the battery earth strap.

Remove selector lever handle
→ Chapter

Remove centre console trim
→ General body repairs, interior; Rep. Gr.68

Remove connector

of printed circuit board.
–
Pull frame
-arrows-
with cover and printed circuit board up and off selector mechanism.

Remove centre console
→ General body repairs, interior; Rep. Gr.68

Unscrew bolt
-arrow-
for selector lever cable.
–
Move selector lever to “P” position.
–
Move selector shaft lever on gearbox to position “P”. Locking lever must engage in park lock wheel so that both front wheels are blocked (cannot be turned together in same direction).

Tighten bolt

Install centre console

Press frame

with cover and printed circuit board into selector mechanism.

Connect connector

of printed circuit board.

Install centre console trim

Install selector lever handle

Reconnect earth strap to battery.

Code radio
