–  Pull the sleeve downwards -arrow 1- and remove the selector knob by pulling upwards -arrow 2-.
–  Undo the cover by levering, with the help of the lever -U 30800-, at the points shown -arrows-
–  Disconnect the gear light switch.
–  Removing the centre console: → Bodywork, interior fitting work; Rep. Gr.68

–  Disconnect the connector -1-, and unclip it from the lever assembly.
–  Dismount the locking segment, removing the bolts -arrows-.
–  Change the lever position to position “1”.
–  Remove both bolts -2- securing the solenoid.
–  With the selector lever always in position “1”, remove the solenoid from the assembly together with the retaining bolt and spring.
