| Preparing new window without precoating for glazing |
| Carry out the following work: |
| No replacement windows are precoated. |
Note | t
| The application zone for the adhesive cord does not take pre-applied adhesive seal or coat of primer. |
| t
| The sealing lip is included with a new windscreen. |
| –
| Clean all round edge of window over a width of 20 mm with cleaning solution. |
| –
| Then rub edge of window dry using a lint-free cloth. |
WARNING | Ceramic coating on window is not glass/paint primer! It must be primed before application of adhesive sealing compound! Use only glass/paint primer! |
