| Removing |
Note| The roof module is glued to the bodywork and, due to the second PUR cord, that is located the closest to the electric motor, destruction free removal is not possible. |
| – | Remove windscreen → Chapter. |
| – | Remove inner roof trim → Bodywork, interior assembly work; Rep. gr.70. |
| – | From the inside the vehicle and using the electric knife -SAT 1561A-, cut through the bead of PUR adhesive bead attached all around the roof -2-. |
| – | Remove the roof frame -1-. |
| Installing |
| – | When supplied as a spare part, the roof is packed with spacer blocks -3- which mark the depth of the frame in its position. |
Note| Use the tensioning strap -T10038- for pressing on and positioning the panorama roof after the adhesive cord of the dual component adhesive -DA 004 600 A2- has been applied. |
| – | Around the entire perimeter -2- of the roof → Item, apply an adhesive cord of the dual component adhesive -DA 004 600 A2-. |
| – | Fit the complete frame-1-, inserting the centring devices at the rear -4-. |
| – | Minimum curing period → Chapter |
| – | Refit all dismantled components |
| – | Connect plug for drive unit. |
| – | Mount glass cover → Chapter. |
| – | Install the interior roof lining → Bodywork, interior assembly work; Rep. gr.70. |
