Special tools and workshop equipment required

t  Torque wrench kit -SAT 8010-
  Note
t  The drive motor for the sunroof can only be removed and installed with the roof closed (zero position).
t  The following conditions must be present in order to remove and install the drive motor shift: the motor and the ignition must be turned off, the ignition key removed and the door opened.
Removing
–  Remove make-up-mirror lighting → Electrical system ; Rep. gr.Grupo de rep. 96.
–  Remove the ultrasonic sensor for the anti-theft alarm -G209- → Electrical system; Rep. gr.Grupo de rep 96.
–  Unclip the connector and separate it.

–  Remove bolts -3- and remove the electric motor-1- operating the sunroof.
  WARNING
If there is an electrical fault, the sunroof may remain open or closed. According to requirements, the screw -2- can be turned to the left or right using a common hexagonal wrench (4 mm).
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of the removal procedure, noting the following:
–  Tightening torque of the motor screws, 3.5 Nm
–  Performing basic setting
  WARNING
Always replace mounting bolts for electric motor with new bolts (3,5 Nm) every time they are loosened.
