Note
t | Removal and installation is described for the manually adjustable seat. Removal and installation for the electrically adjustable seat is similar. |
t | When removal and installation the seats use suitable gloves in order to avoid soiling the upholstery. |
t | The removal and installation procedures may need to be modified slightly depending on the equipment variants. |
t | When the battery is reconnected, check the vehicle equipment (radio, clock, window risers), following the indications in the Workshop Manual or the Operating Instructions. |
– | Move the seat forward. |
– | Turn off the ignition and all electricity consumers. |
– | Disconnect the battery of the vehicle → Rep. gr.27. |
– | Remove the rear bolts -1- located in the inner part of the guide rails. |
– | Move seat backwards. |
– | Remove the front bolts -2- located in the inner part of the guide rails. |

Continued for all vehicles |
– | Carefully fold the seat to the rear until is rests on the rear seats in a safe way. |
– | Unscrew the bolt -13- and remove the compartment with lock -10-. |
Note
Depending on the version, another two screws have to be removed that can be reached on the inside of the compartment. |
