Cover and padding for rear seat backrest: Removing and installing
  Note
t  The following sequences described for the removal and installation apply for the rear seat bench on the left side. The procedures for the right-hand side are similar.
t  Remove and install the cover and padding of the load-through hatch / centre armrest unit → Chapter.
t  Removing: → Anchor
t  Installing: → Anchor
   
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Lever -T20043-
t  pressure tool -T20069-
t  Lever -U 30800-

   
Removing
  Note
During removal and assembly use the lever -T20043- and the lever -U 30800-.
–  Remove the rear seats → Chapter, → Chapter.
–  Hang out the retaining profile -1- from the wire frame -4-.
–  Remove the head restraint guide → Chapter, → Chapter.
–  Detach the backrest padding clips -3- from the backrest cover -2- using the pressure tool -T20069-.

Installing
Installation is carried out in reverse order. The following should be taken into account:
  Note
To ease installation, we recommend heating the upholstery to approximately 30 ºC before fitting.
