  Note!
If the display should blink after “turning on the ignition”, even though no fault appears when consulting the fault memory 02, function 04 “Basic adjustment” will have to be carried out.
–  Turn on the fault reader -V.A.G 1551-, enter the address code “08 electronics of air conditioning and heating” and continue switching until the display indicates “Select function XX” → Chapter.
–  Activate the printer with the key PRINT (the warning light on the key comes on).
–  Consult the fault memory → Anchor and eliminate all faults that appear.
–  Clear the fault memory → Chapter.
   
Readout on the display (Select function):
–  Press the keys 0 and 4 (with 04 you enter the function “Basic adjustment”).

  Note!
When all the servomotors are moved to the final position, the control unit for Autoclimate -J255- memorises the values of the power meter and thus accepts the basic adjustments for all the servomotors.

It is possible to see the movements of the two servomotors on the display. The modifications in the readings are not due to a fault in the servomotors.

Readout on the display: If 0 appears, the basic adjustment is completed. The faults that the system has detected are recorded in the faults memory.

The display shows the number of faults memorised or “No fault detected”.
–  Press the key
The faults memorised are indicated successively and are printed using the PRINT key.
–  After the last fault has been indicated and printed, the faults must be eliminated following the fault table → Chapter.
–  Press the key
