Bracket for air conditioning compressor: removing and fiting, engines AMF, BAY, BNM, BNV and ASY

Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Dynamometric wrench -SAT 8010- (5 - 50 Nm)
  Note
t  The compressor support and its parts can be removed and installed without opening the refrigerant circuit.
t  To remove the Poly-V belt: → Rep. Gr.13
   
1 - Compressor bracket
Removing
–  Alternator: removing → Electrical system; Rep. Gr.27
–  Remove the compressor from the support and fix it to the body with a suitable tool (e.g. soldering wire) → Fig..
–  Loosen the bolts that fix the bracket to the cylinder block.
Fitting
t  Before fitting, it is necessary to:
–  Replace fixing bolts.
2 - Hexagonal combi bolt, tensor fixing M10x45
q   45 Nm
q   1 unit
3 - Compressor
q   Removing:
–  Remove the hexagon bolts, → Item.
–  Remove the compressor from the support and fix it to the body with a suitable tool (e.g. soldering wire) → Fig..
4 - Hexagon M8x50 bolt
q   25 Nm
q   2 units
5 - Dowel sleeves
q   2 units
q   Make sure the cylinder head supports are correctly seated.
6 - Poly V-belt
q   Removing and fitting → Rep. Gr.13
q   Poly-V belt routing → Fig.
7 - Tensioning element for the tensioning roller
8 - Hexagon combi bolt M8x100 and M10x45
q   M8 = 25 Nm
q   M10 = 45 Nm

   
Fixing the air conditioning compressor to the body
If the air conditioning compressor is removed and the refrigerant circuit does not open, the compressor must be fixed to the body with a suitable tool (e.g. welding wire).
Make sure that the refrigerant hoses of the compressor are not taut.

Poly-V belt routing
  Note
When installing the Poly-V belt, ensure it is correctly seated on the pulleys.
