| If the pulley overload safety device has been triggered, check if the compressor is easy to move before replacing the pulley. If it is difficult to move, replace it completely. |

| To remove the pulley, it may be necessary to loosen the engine compressor, depending on the engine version → Chapter. |

| The compressor can be detached from the support and re-attached without opening up refrigerant pipes. |

| Before removing, mark direction of Poly-V belt with chalk or felt-tipped pen. If a belt which has previously functioned is made to operate in the opposite direction, this can cause it to be destroyed. |
