Removing
–  With the ignition switched off disconnect battery earth strap.
For vehicles fitted with a coded radio, first check the anti-theft code.
–  Tension the clutch cable and remove it from the gearbox → Chapter
–  Remove the neutral overpass spring → Chapter
   
–  Remove the circlip for the clutch and brake pedal shaft, on the clutch pedal side. To do this lift the tab with a screwdriver in the direction of the -arrow 1- and remove catch in the direction of -arrow 2-.

–  Remove the circlip for the clutch and brake pedal shaft, on the brake pedal side. To do this lift the central tab with a screwdriver, and move the catch down -arrows-.
–  Pull the brake/clutch pedal shaft to the right, until the clutch pedal can be removed.
–  Remove the clutch pedal, together with the bearing bushes.
