Oil pump: removing and installing
Oil pump: removing and installing
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Torque wrench kit -SAT 8010-
Removal:
–  Remove sump → Chapter.
  L00-10226
–  Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the oil pump pinion cover -1-.
  E17-0029
–  Remove the bolts -arrows- securing the oil pump -1-.
  E17-0027
–  Separate sprocket -1- from chain -2- and remove oil pump -3-.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
  Note
Before assembly, check that the two guide sleeves of the oil pump are in position → Item.
Specified torque .
  E17-0028
ComponentTightening torque Nm
Oil pump fastening bolt M8x8025 Nm
Oil pump pinion cover fastening bolt M6x328 Nm
