Sequence of operations

–	Connect the -V.A.G 1551 (V.A.G 1552)- unit and, using the corresponding “address code” 01, select the control unit for engine electronics. The ignition must be on when you do this → Rep. Gr.01

Indication on the display:

–	Press the keys 0 and 8 for the function “Read measurement value block” and confirm with Q.

Indication on the display:

–	Press the keys 0, 0 and 2 for “indication group number 2” and confirm with Q.

Read measurement value block

Introduce indication group num. XXX

–	Check the indication of the position of the accelerator pedal in field 2, without pressing the pedal.

Theoretical value: 0,0 %

Read measurement value block XX       ->

0/mind.     0,0 %     0 1 0     18,4 °C

–	Slowly press the accelerator pedal, noting indication field 2. The value of the accelerator pedal position must increase continuously, reaching 100 % shortly before maximum acceleration.

–	If necessary, adjust the accelerator pedal -2- by turning the adjustment screw -1- to indicate

0,0 %

with the accelerator pedal released (idle) and

100 %

with the pedal to shortly before full acceleration.
