Removing oil seal on Hall sender
   
Removing oil seal on Hall sender
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Oil seal extractor -T20031B-
t  Puller -T20081B-
t  Torque wrench -SAT 8010-

   
–  Pull connector off Hall sender -arrow-.
–  Remove toothed belt guard - upper part.
–  Remove housing for Hall sender.
–  Remove washer and hood for Hall sender.
–  Screw inner part of seal extractor -T20031B- out of outer part.

–  Lubricate threaded head of oil seal extractor -T20031B-, place it in position and exerting firm pressure screw it as far as possible into oil seal.
–  Loosen knurled screw and turn inner part against crankshaft until the oil seal is pulled out.
Installing
–  Lightly oil sealing lip of oil seal.
–  Slide oil seal over guide sleeve.

–  Position puller -T20081B- with sleeve -T20081B/3- on camshaft journal and press in onto stop using a M8×45 bolt with washer.
–  Remove sleeve -T20081B/3-.
–  Insert Hall sender hood into notch in inlet camshaft.
–  Install washer (taper facing outwards) and tighten securing bolt to 25 Nm.
–  Install housing for Hall sender and tighten to 10 Nm.
–  Install upper toothed belt guard.
–  Reconnect connector on Hall sender.
