Installing > < Renewing valve stem seals

Removing
Removing
(with cylinder head fitted)
–  First remove toothed belt → Chapter.
–  Remove cylinder head cover and camshaft → Chapter.
–  Remove roller rocker arm together with support elements and place on a clean surface.
–  Ensure the roller rocker arms and the support elements are not interchanged.
–  Remove spark plugs using spark plug wrench -T20028-.
–  Set piston of appropriate cylinder to “bottom dead centre”.
   
–  Fit assembly tool -T20034B- with press piece -T20034B/27-.
–  Screw pressure hose -T20033- into the spark plug thread.
–  Connect pressure hose to compressed air system supplying at least 6 bar and remove valve springs.
–  Pull off valve stem seals with -T20058-.
