  W00-2989
t  Torque wrench -SAT 8010-
Work sequence
–  Removing upper section of air cleaner → Chapter
–  Mark direction of rotation (DOR) of ribbed belt.
–  Removing ribbed belt → Chapter
  W00-2760
–  Remove ribbed belt pulley and toothed belt sprocket securing bolt, counter-hold on ribbed belt pulley with -T20018A- when doing this.

–  Mark position of tensioning roller indicator -arrow- using a non-water soluble pen or similar. Then press the toothed belt -1- using firm thumb pressure. The indicator must move.
–  Relieve pressure on toothed belt.
–  Turn the crankcase two full rotations in direction of rotation of engine.
–  Then check position of indicator again. It must return to its initial position.
If indicator does not return to initial position:
–  Renew tensioning roller.
If the tensioning roller is OK.:
–  Install toothed belt upper and lower guards again.
–  Install crankshaft ribbed belt pulley again. Observe the following when doing this:
t  The securing bolt for the crankshaft ribbed belt pulley and toothed belt sprocket must be renewed.
t  Ensure the ribbed belt pulley sits centralized on the toothed belt sprocket (central holes aligned).
t  Tightening sequence for new oiled bolt: 90 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°) further
–  Fit ribbed belt again → Chapter
  Note!
When fitting the ribbed belt, ensure that the belt seats correctly in the belt pulleys.
