| The installation is basically a reverse of the removal sequence, but observe the following when doing this: |
| t
| Route breather and fuel line hoses free of kinks. |
| t
| Secure fuel line hoses with spring-type clamps only. |
| t
| Ensure the fuel lines are seated securely. |
| t
| Do not interchange supply and return lines (return line is blue or with blue marks, supply line is black). |
| t
| Carry out test drive and read fault memories of all control units again. |
Note! | t
| After installing fuel tank, check that the supply, return and breather lines are still clipped onto the fuel tank. |
| t
| After installing the fuel delivery unit ensure that transfer point of the fuel delivery unit is not kinked. |
| t
| When the fuel delivery unit is correctly installed the fuel gauge float faces towards the furl tank filler neck. |
| t
| Moisten flange seal with fuel before installing. |
