1 - 15 Nm
2 - Sealing flange
q   Removing and fitting → Chapter
q   Fit with silicon-based sealant → Chapter
q   Replace crankshaft oil seal on pulley end → Chapter
3 - Chain tension device with tensor rail, 15 Nm
q   When fitting, pre-tension spring and engage
4 - Oil dipstick
q   Oil level must not be above max. mark on dipstick!
q   Marks → Fig..
5 - Dipstick pipe
q   Remove in case of oil evacuation through absorption
6 - Guide pipe
7 - Oil spray jet
q   For piston cooling → Fig.
8 - Pressure relief valve, 27 Nm
q   Opening pressure: 2,5 ... 3.2 bar → Fig.
9 - 15 Nm
10 - Oil intake pipe
q   Clean filter if soiled
11 - O-ring
q   Replace
12 - Baffle plate
13 - 10 Nm
14 - Oil level/oil temperature sender -G266-
q   Checking: → Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051
q   According to versions
15 - O-ring
q   Replace
q   Lubricate before fitting
16 - Sump
q   Clean sealing surface before fitting
q   Fit with silicon-based sealant → Chapter
q   Removing and fitting → Chapter
17 - Oil purge bolt, 30 Nm
q   With captive seal
q   Replace
18 - Gasket
q   Replace
19 - Oil return pipe
q   Comes from turbocharger
20 - 10 Nm
21 - Oil pump
q   With 12 bar pressure relief valve
q   Before fitting, check that the two dowel sleeves for centring oil pump/cylinder block are fitted.
q   Replace in case of grooves on contact surfaces and gear wheels: replacing
q   Removing and fitting → Chapter
22 - Oil pump sprocket
23 - 25 Nm
24 - Chain
q   Mark D.O.R. before removing
q   Check for wear
25 - Dowel sleeves

   
Oil spray jet and pressure valve
1 - Oil spray jet (for cooling of piston)
2 - Bolt with pressure relief valve, 27 Nm
t  Opening pressure: 2,5 ... 3.2 bar
