  Note
t  For clarity, the process is described for a removed engine.
t  The sequence of operations is identical with the engine mounted and the gearbox removed.
–  Remove flywheel → Chapter.
–  Remove the intermediate plate.
–  Place the engine at TDC cylinder 1 TDC. 1.
   
–  Remove the engine speed sender -G28--arrow- with a conventional Allen key with spherical head.
–  Unscrew the attachment bolts from the sealing flange.
  Note
Remove the sealing flange and the sender wheel from the crankshaft with three hexagonal bolts -M6 x 35 mm-.

–  Screw three hexagonal bolts -M6 x 35 mm- into the threaded holes -arrows- of the sealing flange.
–  Screw in the screws to the sealing flange in diagonal pairs (max. 1/2 rotations (180°) per screw) and drive the sealing flange together with the wheel sender away from the crankshaft .
