Crankshaft oil seal - pulley end-: replacing > < Engine block, flanges

1 - Securing bolt
q   Respect the tightening procedure → Chapter
q   Replace
q   The contact surface of the fastening bolt must be free of oil and grease
q   Apply oil before fitting it (thread)
q   Secure the pulley with the counterhold -3415- to prevent it from turning
q   The retightening angle can be measured with a standard protractor
2 - Pulley
q   The contact surfaces must be free of oil and grease.
q   During fitting and removal, secure using the tool -3415- to prevent it from turning.
q   Poly-V belt: removing and installing → Chapter
3 - Oil seal
q   Renew → Chapter
4 - Sleeve
q   The contact surfaces must be free of oil and grease.
5 - O-ring
q   Replace
6 - Aluminium cylinder block
7 - 60 Nm +1/4 turn further (90º)
8 - Flywheel/ drive plate
q   To remove and fit the engine flywheel, immobilise it with the retention tool -T10044-
9 - Intermediate plate
q   Should fit into the adjustment sleeves
q   Do not bend or damage during installation work
10 - 12 Nm
q   Replace
11 - Sealing flange with sender crown and seal
q   With Engine speed sender -G28- (without diagram)
q   Tightening torque of the engine speed sender -G28-: 5 Nm
q   Always replace the sealing flange together with the seal and the sender crown
q   Removing and fitting the sealing flange → Chapter
