| Turn the crankshaft or the toothed belt pinion three teeth counter-clockwise from TDC: The third tooth to the right of the shortened tooth -A- should coincide with the TDC mark on the oil pump housing -arrow-. |
Note! With this setting, the installation position of the crankshaft for fitting the oil pump is established. One of the crankshaft drive cams is up. |

| Remove the crankshaft toothed belt pinion and the toothed belt tensioning roller. To do so, immobilise the pinion with the countersupport -T20018-. |

| Remove the intake line → Item. |
Note! To remove the oil pump on vehicles with air conditioning, it is necessary to partially remove the vane pump-compressor-alternator support. |

| With a flat scraper, eliminate the sealant residue from the engine block. |

| Clean the contact surfaces of all oil and grease. |
