t  Cooling system tester -SAT 1274-
t  Adaptor -VAG 1274/8-
t  Adaptor -VAG 1274/9-

Test requirements
l  Engine at operating temperature
Test sequence
  DANGER!
Hot steam or hot coolant can escape when the cap on the expansion tank is opened. Cover the cap with a cloth, and open it carefully.
–  Open cap on coolant expansion tank.
–  Insert the coolant system tester -SAT 1274- with the adapter -VAG 1274/8- into the expansion tank.
–  Use hand pump on tester -SAT 1274- to create a pressure of approx. 1.0 bar.
If the pressure drops:
–  Locate the leak and rectify the fault.
