Removing
Removing
–  Remove the engine protection along with the air filter (engine identification letters AUB, BBY, BBZ, BKY) → Chapter.
–  Remove the air filter housing (Engine identification letters BXW) → Chapter
–  First see if the vehicle has a coded radio. If so, refer to the anti-theft code.
–  With the ignition switched off, disconnect battery earth strap.
–  First remove principal notched belt → Chapter.
Engine code AUB
–  Remove the spark plugs together with the ignition cable guide.
–  Remove the 4-pin connector from the Ignition transformer -N152-.
–  Disconnect connector terminal from Hall Sender -G40-.
   
–  Undo securing bolt -arrow- from the cable guide support.
Engine code letters BBY, BBZ, BKY, BXW
–  Remove the 4-pin connectors from the ignition transformers.
–  Removing ignition coils. To do so, use the extractor -T10094-.
–  Remove the air duct from the camshaft housing.

–  Undo securing bolt -arrow- from the cable guide support.
Continued for all vehicles
–  Undo the securing bolt of the rear notched belt guard, in the region of the right ring for the load hook.
–  Remove the bolts fixing the coolant pipe to the camshaft housing,
–  Loosen the camshaft housing bolts, from outside to inside, diagonally.
–  Carefully lift the camshaft housing off.
