Poly-V Ribbed belt: removing and installing
Poly-V Ribbed belt: removing and installing
The procedure described refers to vehicles fitted with air conditioner (heating)
Removing
–  Mark direction of rotation of Poly-V belt.
   
–  Use a spanner on the securing bolt swivel tensioning roller in direction of arrow.
–  Remove poly V-belt .
Fitting
  Note
t  Before fitting the Poly-V belt, ensure that all mechanical assemblies [alternator and air conditioner (heating) compressor, transfer pump] are securely installed.
t  When fitting the Poly-V belt, ensure that it is fitted with the correct direction of rotation and that it is correctly seated on the pulleys.
–  First fit the Poly-V belt onto the crankshaft pulley and lastly onto the tensor roller.
–  Start engine and check that belt runs properly.
