Removing and installing radiator fan control unitJ293
Removing and installing radiator fan control unit -J293-

Removing
  Note
Fit cable ties in the original positions when installing.
–  Open cap on coolant expansion tank.
   
–  Release and remove the connector -1- of the radiator fan from its retainer in the bracket. Press back the safety device -arrow- and release it downwards.
–  Remove front bumper cover → Rep. gr.63.
–  Move lock carrier to service position → Rep. gr.50.
–  Lay open the wiring harness leading to the control unit of the radiator fan.
–  Separate the line connection.

–  Unscrew the bolts -4- and -5- and remove the control unit.
Installing
Reassembly is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
l  Tightening torque → Chapter „Radiator and radiator fan: Assembly overview“
