Replace the needle bearing of the drive plate
Replace the needle bearing of the drive plate
Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability among Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Tube element -VW 418 A-
  W00-0367
t  Tube element -VW 421-
t  Support -40 - 103-
  W00-0039
Operation process
l  Gearbox removed.
–  Remove drive plate → Chapter.
–  Place support -40 - 103- under drive plate when pressing out and pressing in needle bearing.
–  Use tube -VW 421- and workshop press and press out needle bearing.
l  Smaller diameter of tube -VW 421- faces drive plate.

–  Carefully press in needle bearing as far as stop, using tube -VW 418 A- and workshop press.
l  Fitting position: closed side of needle bearing faces engine.
–  Install drive plate → Chapter.
