Coolant pump: Removing → Anchor
Coolant pump: Fitting → Anchor
Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability among Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Base -T20174-, see equivalent → Anchor
  W00-2456
t  Water pump wrench -VAG 1590-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  Torque wrench (5... 50 Nm) -V.A.G 1331-, see equivalent → Anchor
  Note
t  The integrated coolant pump seal must not be separated from the coolant pump.
t  Damaged or leaking coolant pumps must be completely replaced with seal.

Removing
–  Drain coolant → Chapter.
–  Remove poly V-belt pulley for coolant pump → Chapter.
–  Remove bolts -arrows- and detach coolant pump.
Installing
l  Tightening torque → Chapter
Install in reverse order to dismantling, noting the following:

Renew O-ring.
–  Clean the sealing surface of the cylinder block with coolant pump and rework
–  Lubricate O-ring with coolant additive.
–  Place the coolant pump onto the engine block.
–  Install poly V-belt pulley for coolant pump → Chapter.
–  Fill up coolant → Chapter.
