t  Lambda probe open ring spanner set -3337-

Lambda probe after catalytic converter -G130- and Heater for lambda probe 1, after the catalytic converter -Z29-: Fitting → Anchor

Removing
–  Remove noise insulation.
  A10-10761
–  Unplug the electrical connector -3- of the lambda probe -G130- and from the lambda probe heating -Z19-.

Item 1 can be disregarded.

–  Move clear electrical wiring connection for Lambda probe after catalytic converter -G130-.
–  Unscrew the lambda probe after the catalytic converter -G130--1- with a tool from the set of ring spanners for lambda probes -3337-.
Installing
When installing, note the following:
  Note
t  The screw thread on the new lambda probe is coated with a special paste; the paste must not get into the slots on the probe body.
t  In the case of a used Lambda probe grease only the thread with high-temperature paste. The paste must not get into the slots on the probe body. High-temperature paste → Parts catalogue
t  When assembling, the lambda probe cable must be fixed in its original position to avoid contact with the exhaust pipe.
